On One Day for UK, support the work of the Center for Research on Violence Against Women. This highly impactful, collaborative effort brings together researchers and practitioners across campus as they work to prevent violence against our most vulnerable populations.
Through grant funding and private support, the Center uses data-driven research to improve public policy, support survivors and create safer communities in the Commonwealth and beyond. Our faculty work side-by-side with partners on a wide range of initiatives - from domestic violence screenings and interventions to the education of Kentucky teachers in grades 6-8 on the signs of child sex trafficking.
