College of Health Sciences

Students in the College of Health Sciences complete rigorous course work and spend many hours beyond the classroom in clinical settings. These experiences help prepare our students well for careers in healthcare – the job placement rate for nearly all CHS programs is at 98 percent or higher – but makes working full-time challenging. As a result, many CHS students find themselves in financial need.

In addition to providing scholarships to students based on need and academic success, CHS is able to make emergency funds available to students. Students can apply any time during the school year when they are in or near a crisis which will impact their education. One student, for example, received assistance after flooding damaged her home. These funds help stabilize a student in crisis so that their education is not interrupted.

The College of Health Sciences has two funds for emergency needs for its students: the Ethan Earlywine Student Emergency Fund for undergraduates and the UK College of Health Sciences Graduate and Professional Student Relief Fund. Select one of those funds below to make your gift today!
